CLINTON – The Prince George’s County Police Department charged a male teenager in connection with shooting two other teenagers inside his Clinton home last week.
Police responded to the triple shooting at the 7900 block of Clendinnen Drive on Jan. 25 around 3:50 p.m. to find three male teenagers suffering from gunshot wounds. According to a police investigation, Delano Dunmore, 16, got into an argument with the two teens, shot them and then shot himself.
All three victims were transported to a hospital. The two victims, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, suffered critical injuries and non-life-threatening injuries. One of the victims is still in critical condition at a hospital, according to department spokeswoman Cpl. Maria McKinney.
Dunmore was sent to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and has since been released into custody with Department of Corrections.
Police charged Dunmore as an adult with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of attempted second-degree murder, as well as assault charges.
Police search for store robbers
The county police department continues to search for male adult suspects in connection with several county store robberies throughout the past month.
On Jan. 22 around 10:45 p.m., a male suspect allegedly walked into and robbed a convenience store on the 5000 block of Garrett Avenue in Beltsville. The suspect demanded money, obtained cash and fled from the store toward Baltimore Avenue.
On Jan. 27 around 10:15 p.m., a male suspect robbed a convenience store on the 7000 block of Central Avenue in Capitol Heights. He allegedly displayed a gun and demanded employees for cash before fleeing the store.
Police are also searching for a suspect in connection with a robbery at a discount store Jan. 23 before 10 p.m. The male suspect approached employees with a gun and demanded cash at the 6600 block of Marlboro Pike in District Heights.
The investigation for these suspects and robberies is ongoing, McKinney said.
Pharmacy robbed in District?Heights
The county police department Thursday released video of a pharmacy robbery reported in District Heights, searching for any information on the case or suspects involved.
Police reported a pharmacy robbery at the 6100 block of Old Silver Hill Road on Jan. 10 at 11:15 a.m.
Police said three suspects – one who held a gun and the other who had pepper spray – allegedly jumped over the counter in the establishment and confronted an employee. The suspects then filled a bag with medications, obtained cash and fled the pharmacy.
No injuries were reported, McKinney said.
Anyone with information on this case can receive a $1,000 reward from Prince George’s County Crime Solvers and an additional $5,000 offering from the FBI’s Baltimore Division.
